Don't Say Baby

This has to be the most popular Baby Shower Game Ever! It’s very traditional, easy to play, and fun for all involved. Is great as an icebreaker as well!

Never say "Baby"

Supplies: Baby Safety Pins or Baby Clothespins or even Pacifier Necklaces.

Directions:

1. When each guest arrives, provide her with a safety pin, clothespin, or necklace.
2. Give each guest instructions on how the game is played
3. Whenever someone says the word "baby" during the shower, any woman who calls it out gets a pin from the other woman who stated the word.
4. At the end of the baby shower, the woman with the most pins wins a prize.

Okay so the other day, as we were tweeting, and one of our followers, @jazzorenee, asked us where we got our background from for our blog. And I told her, I got it from The Cutest Blog On The Block.

Whenever I need a new blogger or twitter background, I always go around to the cutest blog on the block. First, of all everything it’s free. Yup, It’s All Free! And they have the cutest backgrounds!

Cutest Blog On The Block has free backgrounds for Blogger, Twitter, and MySpace. They have very cute designs for Awareness, Baby, Classy, Cooking, Glitter, Love, and even Masculine for all of our guys out there who blog.

Strawberry Chocolate Diaper Cake w/ Matching Stork Basket

Check out the newest addition to our family!

.:: The Strawberry Chocolate Diaper Cake ::..

This was made especially for Baby Sanai, due August 2009! The baby shower decor was pink, brown and white. A lot of the items on the baby shower registry were pink and brown, so we baked up a diaper cake to match!

The diaper cake includes: about 70 Size 2 Diapers, Desition Diaper Rash Cream, 2 Johnson's and Johnson's Baby Lotion, Johnson's and Johnson's Baby Wash, Johnson's and Johnson's Shampoo, 3 Washcloths, 3 Washcloth Lollipops, and a very very Soft Pink Teddy Bear! We topped it off by adding Sanai's name to the cake in pink letters.

The cake matched perfectly with the decor, and was a perfect centerpiece.

Along with the diaper cake, we decided to throw in a matching item.

The Stork Basket includes 10 Size 2 Diapers, A Fleece Blanket,

and a cute little resuable bow. For this one, we also added safety pins embellishments.

Wee Bit Trendy to the rescue with a Baby Boy Basket!

I guess it's great to have friends who can come
to your rescue when you can't find or don't have enough time to find a gift.

We were called in the nick of time to design a basket for a baby boy!

It had to have Aveeno Baby Products, socks, and diapers, everything else was optional.


Here is what we created:


Ingredients:
6 Diapers
6 Washcloth Lollipops
1 Onesie Lollipop
1 Basket
1 Pacifier Strap
1 Pacifier
1 Elmo Board Book
1 Stuffed Puppy
2 pairs of Socks
1 Aveeno Baby Daily Mosturizing Lotion
1 Aveeno Baby Wash & Shampoo

We wrapped it in cellophane, and it was a hit at the Baby Shower!
